What is KickStart?

KickStart is Avon's Onboarding experience, designed to help new Representatives achieve early success from their first sale. By following the program, you have the potential to earn $1,000 or more in your first 90 days!

How does it work?

KickStart is based on two things: your sales and your recruiting efforts.


Sales: New Representatives will earn 40% on their first six campaigns when they meet these goals:

• Campaign 1 - $150
• Campaign 2 - $200
• Campaign 3 - $250
• Campaign 4 - $300
• Campaign 5 - $350
• Campaign 6 - $400

Each campaign stands alone, so if you don't make your goal in one campaign, you can still earn the KickStart percentage in the next one. For the campaign that you missed the goal, you would earn the regular earning schedule for all Avon Representatives:

• $0 - $149.99 - 20%
• $150 - $294.99 - 30%
• $295 - $399.99 - 35%

Recruiting: Here's where the fun begins. New Representatives will receive a $50 bonus for every Qualified KickStart Recruit (QKR) during their first six campaigns. A QKR is a new Representative who meets his or her sales goal of $150 within 30 days of their appointment and pays on time. There is no limit to the number of $50 bonuses you can receive.


If you achieve all of your sales goals and recruit at least three QKRs in your first six campaigns, you will receive an additional $200 performance bonus! All in all, you could earn $1,000 or more in just three months!


So, let's address those excuses!

• I don't have time. Your earnings will reflect how much time you put into your business, and once you realize how much fun it is to sell Avon, you will want to put more time into it. I love going through the What's New catalogs and picking out which demos I want to order, and perusing all of the training on the Avon website to learn all I can about the products. I also participate in my District's sales meetings and webinars, and join in on Emily Seagren's bi-weekly webinars as well. The more informed you are, the better salesperson you will be!
• I'm shy/introverted. I am an introvert too! There are some things my DM encourages me to do that I just won't or can't do, like approach women in a parking lot with brochures. But I can leave books at the doctor's office, the car dealership, and the Laundromat up the street, and I can hang business cards on the bulletin board at the post office and tape them to rest room mirrors. I can write a blog and have a Facebook fan page (PamelaMurphyBeauty), and I can wear Avon makeup, fragrance, and jewelry so that when someone compliments me on it, I can start talking about Avon. My mom puts books on the table inside her apartment building door for me. There are so many creative things you can do other than approaching strangers!
• I don't want to learn anything new. Well, I really can't help you there, but my motto has always been "Never Stop Learning." I'm 61, two weeks from retiring from my day job, and super excited to be taking this next step in my life. I have three small businesses that I will probably be working full-time on combined, but I will work as much as I want to, on my own terms. Money will certainly be a motivator for me, as my retirement income will be small. I have always loved learning. I didn't go to college until I was in my 40s due to being a single mom, and I went on to get my MBA at age 46. I read a couple dozen books a year, and hope to read even more after retirement. Learning keeps your brain active and young!

It takes about two minutes to sign up! You can choose your starter kit from three options $25, $50, and $100. I picked the $50 kit but regretted not getting the $100 kit because I want that black sales bag, and now I can't get it. Whatever kit you get will have plenty of brochures, samples, and full-size products to get you started.


You will also have a free eStore, so your customers can buy from you online and have their products shipped directly to their homes. That is another stream of income for you.
